I went to a colin blunstone show at fez many years ago, where he was backed by the local lounge lover cover band, and that was ace. we even snagged an interview with the zombies singer for chickfactor 13 (thank you gaylord!). then in 2005 I tried again and saw the zombies (basically colin and rod argent) playing a selection of songs zombie-esque and otherwise, some of which were fantastic and some of which were not, at the bloomsbury theatre. we laughed, we cried. now the zombies will reunite again, all original members this time, for a 40th anniversary tour. there are two shows (march 7 and 8, 2008! at shepherds bush empire in london), each show is four hours long, and on the sbe website it says odessey & oracle, so perhaps that means they’ll be playing that in its entirety. see you there, if the world still exists in 2008.
