my pal stephen trousse recently asked what my favorite record of 2007 was and I could not even think of it, perhaps because all my records are packed away in storage and I have no idea what came out anymore — this year has been a bit of a blur for me for many reasons. I did like some records, though I admit to being slightly out of touch (I listen to reissues and I don’t care!) but I still looked at this list of the best 50 albums of 2007 according to the (london) observer music section and I found it completely unentrancing! what were your favorite records of 2007? post your top 5 or top 10 in the comment box, why don’t you?
