meanwhile, a month later in the steamy south you will find me attending xx merge, a 20-year-anniversary celebration festival for merge records in carrboro, NC, where such fabbo acts as the clientele, m ward, the magnetic fields and lambchop will perform. yes, it’s mostly sold out. but you should come! slumberland records is also celebrating its 20-year anniversary this year with some shows tba. can’t wait for that!
