she’s a little bit country, she’s a little bit rock and roll. actually, that is not at all true. marissa nadler is a little bit goth by her own admission and a little bit folkie singer-songwriter and while I have not resembled a goth in a very long time, I dig her scene. these tracks on her myspace page are lovely. so I believe it is newsworthy to announce that she has a new album out called songs III: bird on the water. it kind of makes me remember everything I used to like about mazzy star.
