thanks to lydia for alerting us to the solitary cyclist, a new band featuring ganda suthivarakom (who has sung backup vox for cibo matto, smokey & miho, etc.), john lindaman (true love always) and chris deaner (+/-). folks who are seriously missing the old boy-girl duets between jim ruiz and stephanie winter-ruiz will be stoked to hear these romantic bossa-nova-tinged pop tracks and it’s good to see that ganda is food-obsessed like the rest of us (here is her blog). myspace is a great musical source, of course of course, but it’s no substitute for records and we are anxiously awaiting some of those!
