unlike the fashionweekbitches out there, we are actively trying to avoid leather shoes in our future. but I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t think john fluevog was still one of the most imaginative shoe visionaries around. in the early days of cf, pam and I had to fight over which pairs of ‘vogs we’d be able to buy so we wouldn’t constantly be seen at the same flying nun showcase wearing the same beautiful, durable, comfortable pairs. leather or no, I have to confess I love the design of the bartoli, but with a price tag of $309, I’ll be heading out to autumn in my aging jack purcells (or veggie vogs) and waiting for the sale instead. damn you, recession!
