ida’s hands.

children are unavoidable these days, and no one seems to make more imaginative visual art using them as inspiration than ida pearle (though her work isn’t all about kids). some of you may know ms. pearle as a violinist who has played with all kinds of people (the magnetic fields, the 6ths, low, ida, the naysayer) and you may have seen her work on LP covers for folks like ruby falls, ida, and ted leo. she reminds us of some of the world’s finest visual artists, such as nikki mcclure and annabel wright, and her divine new book is now available for purchase (children will like it, but adults will too).
