when it comes to music DVDs, chances are good that plexifilm put out the one that you’re watching. now our pal gary hustwit, who owns plexi, has made a film of his own, and it happens to focus on a really useful font, helvetica. (btw, chickfactor’s logo up top there and the font used for most text in all its print mags is L helvetica light, unless of course we needed a condensed version to squeeze in all that text. no better font accommodates a dense book and presents it so lightly and beautifully). find out about screenings of his helvetica film here and read this interview with gary in the guardian.
